NAIROBI, May 12, 2026 — The Government of Kenya has unveiled new nursing policy frameworks and a national awards scheme during the International Nurses Week celebrations in Nairobi. Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale announced plans to establish a new Directorate of Nursing to elevate professional representation.
