Kenya has intensified efforts to strengthen innovation, safeguard indigenous knowledge and protect creators through the proposed National Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy (NIPPS) 2026. During a public participation forum in Nairobi, government officials urged stakeholders to help shape a policy aimed at boosting industrialisation, supporting the creative economy and ensuring innovators benefit from their intellectual property.
